Annual Reports Now Online

AnnualReportHow many people were born in Plymouth in 2013? Or in 1913? What were their names? Who got married here in 1975? The answer is a click away via the Plymouth Public Library’s newly digitized collection of Plymouth Annual Town Reports. Reports including the years 1636 to 1783 and 1865 to 2013 are now accessible on-line and are also available to be freely downloaded. You can read any of the reports on-line using your computer. You also have the option to download the files, either to a computer, or to a mobile device such as a Kindle, an i-Pad or an Android tablet.

The digitization of these books was federally funded with a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and administered by the Boston Public Library in partnership with the Digital Commonwealth. The files are hosted by the Internet Archive, a non-profit organization offering the public permanent access to historical collections that exist in digital format.
