Check out a Chromebook!

Plymouth Public Library now has Chromebook laptops for checkout.  They will be available at both the Main Library and at the Manomet Branch.  You can take one home for two weeks or just borrow one to use at the Library when visiting.  They are being kept at the Circulation Desk.

What is a Chromebook?

You can use a Chromebook to do just about anything you’d normally do online:

  • read websites
  • check your email
  • watch videos
  • and you can use Google Docs and Google Drive to create and share files online.  If you have never used Google Docs, follow this link to view some short tutorials on how to take advantage of these free resources.

Each Chromebook comes with a brief “Getting Started” guide to help you get going – follow the link to view and download.

If you need a basic device for web browsing and working on simple files, take a look!
