With cooler early autumn weather approaching, it’s a perfect time to get back into walking and we are pleased to offer access to a unique opportunity to help support and motivate you to get moving. Sign up for a 6-week Walk With Ease program designed to help make walking an important part of everyday life. This free program has been developed by the Arthritis Foundation and is being offered in cooperation with Springfield College. Participants will receive a free workbook, to be picked up curbside, as well as free individual (virtual or via phone) coaching with a physical therapy student for the duration of the program.
SPACE IS LIMITED. Please make sure that you consult with your primary care provider before starting any new fitness program. Coaching begins on September 21st (walking will be on your own). Once registered, you will be notified to pick up your book at the library (curbside) and you will be contacted by a Springfield College student to arrange your coaching sessions.
