Aging Together: Senior Children & Their Parents

Are you or someone you know a senior caring for aged parent(s)?  Join us for a virtual discussion on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:30 which will feature the work of University of Massachusetts-Boston professor Kathrin Boerner.  The Gerontology Institute at UMass Boston has been studying this increasingly common situation where older adults (over 65) have a parent or parents who are over 90 and in some cases living with dementia.

An important goal of their study has been to better understand what kinds of situations create more stress for older children and parents, and when they might benefit from helpful interventions of all sorts.

Join us for a lively discussion and learn that you may be alone in your situation.  Please follow this link to register in advance on Eventkeeper. We will email you the remote access (Zoom) details prior to the event.
