How To Access Ancestry.com Remotely

Good news for genealogy researchers!  Access to Ancestry Library Edition, which had been temporarily expanded to library cardholders working remotely until the end of May, has now been extended for the duration of the closure of the Boston Public Library.

Unfortunately, we are unable to meet the required technical accommodations on the Plymouth Public Library website. However, you can still access Ancestry from home via the Boston Public Library – follow this link to access the database. To log-in, you will need to use a Boston Public Library e-card.

All Massachusetts residents are eligible to sign up for a Boston Public Library e-card – click here to register if you need to get one.

Now see what great information you can dig up on your ancestors!
