Everyone Counts – 2020 Census

The 2020 Census is happening now. You can respond online, by phone, or by mail.

Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year.

The results determine how many seats in Congress each state gets.

Who counts in #2020Census? #EveryoneCounts! Every neighbor, every immigrant, every child, everyone. If you’re living in the US, you count.

If you received a form in the mail, you can still fill it out and send it back – your answer still counts! April 1 is the day on which your information is dated, not the deadline for responding. Didn’t get a paper form or have misplaced it? When you go to 2020census.gov website and click respond now, it will ask you for the census ID but below that is a link that says I don’t have a census ID. Click that, key in your address, and you’ll be all set to respond.

We need to make sure everyone answers! Having an accurate census affects all sorts of community agencies.  Health clinics. Fire departments. Schools. Even roads and highways. The census can shape many different aspects of life of our area. It only takes a few moments and makes a big difference – respond now, if you haven’t already.
