Newsbank – Boston Metro Collection and Old Colony Memorial

Your Plymouth Public Library card gives you access to Newsbank, providing comprehensive news and information at the local, state, regional and national levels. News of local interest happens everywhere, from small towns to big cities across the United States.

America’s News provides access to information on people, issues and events in the local area and around the country. This comprehensive resource offers hundreds of millions of current and archived full-text articles from news sources nationwide in a single, fully searchable online database. It includes the electronic editions of more than 3,000 U.S. news sources.

Through Newsbank, the Library also offers full text access to our hometown newspaper, The Old Colony Memorial, as well as The Boston Metro Collection,  a total of 248 Boston Metro news sources including full-color image editions of the Boston Herald, Cape Cod Times and Worcester Telegram and Gazette. This extensive collection is available in the library and remotely with your library card on an easy-to-use mobile responsive interface. Includes easy citation tools, article sharing and email capability for your convenience.
