Life Long Learning with Your Library Card – Learn a New Language

Is any traveling on your horizon?  Or have you just been thinking about learning a new language or brushing up on one you studied in high school?  We have some fantastic free resources for language learners. Using your Plymouth Public library card, you can access Rosetta Stone Library Solution, which offers a proven immersion method to language learning. With a choice of 30 languages, learning is structured around core lessons to build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills and also includes focused activities to refine grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and more. You can also take advantage of available mobile apps that enable you to reinforce your language learning on the go, wherever you may be.  This short tutorial will help you get started using Rosetta Stone.  Follow this link  to get to our Rosetta Stone account.  If you are not at the Library, you will need to enter your library card number to sign-in.  Create an account with your email address and a password and choose the language which you plan to study. You can also download the mobile app to your tablet or phone.  (To sign into the app, you must log in from the Library website on your browser, which will then open your lesson in the app).
