With the holiday season just around the corner, at the next meeting of PPL Cookbook Club on Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00 PM, we will be trying out the award-winning Dorie’s Cookies by Dorie Greenspan (winner of the James Beard Award for Best Baking and Dessert Book, 2017).
This all new collection promises cookies for every taste and occasion. There are company treats like Portofignos, with chocolate dough and port-soaked figs, and lunch-box Blueberry Buttermilk Pie Bars, plus dozens of choices for the Christmas cookie swaps, including Little Rascals (German jam sandwich cookies with walnuts), Italian Saucissons (chocolate log cookies studded with dried fruit), and Snowy-Topped Brownie Drops.
