October Movie Night – A Monster Calls

Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for an entertaining film based on a story first told in a book. We will be showing A Monster Calls on October 2nd.

Description:  A visually spectacular drama from director J.A. Bayona, A Monster Calls is based on the fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman. Twelve year old Conor, who must deal with his mother's serious illness, his less-than-sympathetic grandmother, and bullying classmates, finds a most unlikely ally when a Monster appears at his bedroom window. Ancient, wild, and relentless, the Monster guides Conor on a journey of courage, faith, and truth. Toby Kebbell plays Conor's father, and Liam Neeson stars in performance-capture and voiceover as the nocturnally visiting Monster of the title. Also starring Lewis MacDougall, Felicity Jones, and Sigourney Weaver.
