The PPL Cookbook Book Club is meeting on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM – this month’s meeting will take place on August 21st. The book club is run by Technical Services Librarian, Liz Dube. We will be reading/reviewing a wide range of cookbooks to include: various cooking techniques, specific chefs, and ethnic cooking styles. The participants in the book club bring one dish to share from the cookbook and the group sits down together for potluck sampling.
Our August title is Foolproof Preserving: A Guide to Small Batch Jams, Jellies, Pickles, Condiments & More by America’s Test Kitchen. This guide to home preserving is perfect for novice canners and experts alike and offers more than 100 foolproof recipes across a wide range of categories. Copies will be available to check out at the circulation desk. There are also copies available to view at the Reference Desk.
