Aging in Place – What It Takes

MoneySmartAging-BannerOn Thursday, April 27, the Plymouth Public Library’s Outreach/Senior Services Department in observance of Money Smart Week will present Aging-In-Place: Your Retirement Living Choices & Options in the Otto Fehlow Meeting Room at 2:00 pm.

Being smart about where we will choose to live as we age is critical in today’s changing financial times.  This presentation will explore what it takes to truly “age-in-place” (the option of living in your current home during retirement.)  Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Kathy Schelleng, of Coldwell Banker and Certified Reverse Mortgage Counselor, Jill Joyce of NeighborWorks of Southern Mass. will provide attendees with a framework to assess their specific retirement housing goals and a variety of creative options to address them.

This free program is sponsored by the Plymouth Public Library Corporation and no registration is required. Refreshments are courtesy of Brookdale, Plymouth Beach. The library is fully accessible; please let us know if you need special accommodations to attend.  For further information call Tom Cummiskey at 508-830-4250, ex 219, or TTY 508-747-5882
