A Plymouth Public Library card is your ticket to a world of information and a wealth of services. A core service of the library is to loan materials to individuals in the community. The library does this by maintaining a database of registered borrowers and giving patrons in good standing access to the collection and services. Individuals residing in an Old Colony Library Network member town may apply for a library card in any library within the network, regardless of residency in that particular community. Library users will be offered the choice of returning to their 'home' library to apply for a card, but will not be turned away from the library they are attending. Individuals living outside the Old Colony Library Network may register for an OCLN card at the Main Library or the Manomet Branch Library with positive proof of address. Your library card allows you to borrow audiocassettes, books, compact discs, DVDs, museum passes, periodicals, Polaroid cameras and videocassettes. Many of these items may also be borrowed from other member libraries in the Old Colony Library Network. |
