Once Upon A Seed . . .

We hope you can make time to stop by the Library on Saturday, February 24th when we will be celebrating the debut of our Seed Library with a full day of garden related activities. The creation of our Seed Library allows us to offer packets of seeds which you can “borrow”,  plant in your garden, and, after harvest time, help us to replenish our collection by bringing back seeds for next year.

Programs For All Ages

From 10:00 to 11:30 in the Meeting Room, we’ll be offering Crafts For Your Garden. Come paint pots and stakes so your garden can be colorful all year long.

At 11:00 in the Children’s Room, families with children ages 6 and under are invited to join us for a garden-themed story time.

At 1:00, we will host a Seed Swap in the Meeting Room. Trade seeds with other local growers and browse our garden book displays.

At 2:00, join us to hear our guest speaker, Michael Paduch, owner of Crystal Lake Nursery, who will give a talk about gardening basics.

And please feel free to drop off donations for the Seed Library all day long!

This program is sponsored by the Plymouth Public Library Corporation and no registration is required.
