Literacy Program At Plymouth Public Library

The Library is home to a vital Literacy Program whose mission is to provide adults in the greater Plymouth area the opportunity to develop and improve the life skills and literacy skills needed to achieve personal growth, to further their education, to seek better employment, and to benefit their overall quality of life.  Visit plymouthliteracy.org for in-depth information.

From September (following Labor Day) through June 30, The Literacy Learning Center at the Main Library is open on Tuesday 12:30 – 5:00, Wednesday 2:00 – 4:00, and Thursday 12:30 to 5:00. From June 30 until September 1, it is open on a reduced summer schedule: Mondays from 10:00 to 3:00 and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 4:00.

As always, tutors may use the Learning Center by stopping at the Reference Desk, leaving your name, borrowing the key, opening the room, immediately returning the key, and making certain that the room is locked when you leave. (The Literacy Center is closed if the Main Library is closed).

Do you or someone you know need their high school diploma?  Or who needs to study English? We can help!

Our next New Student Orientation will be on Monday, October 29th at 10:00.  For more information call us at 508-830-4260 or email [email protected]
