Are you interested in finding out more about your family roots? Whether you are just getting started or are already well advanced, circle your calendar to join us on Saturday, February 25 for an informational program by professional genealogist Chris Cook. She will help you learn more about how to use the resources the Library offers to help you research your family tree.
Chris will give an overview of the subscription services your Plymouth Public Library card gives you access to, including Ancestry.com and American Ancestors, the New England Historical Genealogical Society's on-line library, which both require you to be at the Library to sign-in, as well as Fold3, and Heritage Quest, which are available online from any location. She will also discuss some other websites useful for family research including FamilySearch.org and FindaGrave.com.
Come by and learn how you can make genealogy searches more productive.
